Grey and Beachy

Dog Kennel/Desk
This dog kennel has multiple uses! Not only is it a great kennel it is also a filing desk with a file drawer and pull-out printer tray. The finish is a 5 step process where the soft grain in the wood is burnt and then some of the burnt material is removed with a while wheel to create real grain texture. After which the piece is given 3 different stain treatments before a final lacquer is applied. Rebar accents have been used throughout the piece to give a more industrial feel.
Bedroom Furniture
Our beachy grey furniture is unique and very different from anything you can find mass-market. Made from heavyweight lumber this furniture is built to last. Both the bed and the drawers above have received a similar 5 layer finish to the dog shown here, although both pieces have a slightly more modern feel rather than industrial.
The bed has 2 custom made floating side tables that attach to the bed rails and can be removed if necessary. The drawers all have soft close runners and unique custom made handes to add a modern accent to the drawer fronts.
Coffee Tables
Here are two very different examples of our beachy grey coffee tables. The first is made from reclaimed 2" thick lumber and has some beautiful dovetail joints holding the legs in place. The second is made from Douglas fir and has a weathered grey top with a chalked charcoal paint finish on the legs and base.
