This memorable project has multiple elements.

One of the features being a custom made solid oak counter top designed for the top of a staircase. This piece was hand carved using a chainsaw wheel on an angle grinder to match the curve of the staircase. It was then distressed further using a wire wheel and a custom aged paint finish was applied to give the final finish a more metallic feel but with a wood grain to make it more truly unique.

In addition, this project has a custom aged white oak bookcase in the bedroom with matching shelving and mantle, finished with floating shelves from leftover flooring so the the final look was seamless.
